I think it’s pretty safe to say that Bowden Francis has earned a spot in the starting rotation.
The right-hander allowed one unearned run over six innings of work and saw his Spring Training ERA drop to 1.93 as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Minnesota Twins by a score of 5-1 in Grapefruit League play on Thursday. He scattered four hits, all of which were singles, didn’t walk a batter, and struck out two.
Bowden Francis was working with diminished velocity and couldn't generate any whiffs today. He still didn't allow an earned run over 5 innings today vs the Twins A lineup.
