Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

LSU superstar Dylan Crews is off to a hot start in the minor leagues and on Tuesday fans of the Fredericksburg Nationals were treated to the first Dylan Crews grand slam at the professional level.

Crews stepped to the plate with the bases juiced and his team leading 4-2 in the seventh inning.

On the first pitch of the at-bat he blasted a shot out to right center field, where he hit the scoreboard to bring home all three runners and extend the lead to 8-2. Check it out below.

Entering Tuesday night’s game, Crews had appeared in three games in the minor leagues, seeing 13 at-bats. He had registered four hits in those at-bats, compiling a .308 batting average with a double and a home run.

But he had just one RBI prior to the Dylan Crews grand slam on Tuesday evening.

Crews is expected to advance quickly through the minor leagues thanks to his immense skill. He spent one game with the FCL Nationals before moving on to Fredericksburg, which is the Nationals’ Single-A affiliate.
